Like its sister course, Summit Windmill, Summit Green Valley also features lighting for night golf. However, only 9 holes will be lit instead of 18. This means that the latest tee off is 4pm.

If you've like Summit Windmill Golf Club located near the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Samut Prakan, then you will most likely enjoy Summit Green Valley Chiang Mai. Both are owned by the same owner. Both are very similar in design, landscaping, and overall course design.

The clubhouse is starting to age a bit. It's not up to the standards of Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai. The standard amenities such as a pro shop, mens locker room, ladies locker room, and restaurant are all available.

The course is nice and is well maintained. The greens are surprisingly better than Summit Windmill's greens. They are more consistent and faster. They were about 9.5 on the stimpmeter when we visited.

The layout is interesting and provides variety. However, it's not that challenging compared to the likes of Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai. This is not necessarily a bad thing. It's good for a wide handicap range. Unlike Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai, we believe that players with handicap indexes greater than 20 can still enjoy a game at Summit Green Valley from the appropriate tee boxes.

Overall, Summit Green Valley Chiang Mai is the second best course in Chiang Mai. It's definitely worth considering to book a round if you are in the area. It's also very reasonably priced at this time for 1500 for cart, caddy, and green fees. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
