The Mileseey Laser Rangefinders are one of the cheapest options for laser rangefinders on the market. Many people have one and love it. I saw some of my friends using it and they seemed happy with it. I decided to order one and hope that it was as good or better than my trusty Bushnell V3.

I owned a Bushnell V3 since 2014. It was wearing out and the seals must have been getting old. The humidity and rain in Thailand would make the unit fog up and sometimes not display numbers correctly on the display. So I started shopping around for a replacement. I didn't feel like paying 15,000-21,000 baht for a Bushnell V5 or Bushnell XE, so I decided to shop around.

Mileseey Laser Rangefinder on Lazada

When I received the unit, the packaging was decent. The case was an obvious knock off of Bushnell's cases. The unit was very similar in functionality to the Bushell V3. It could be configured to measure in yards or meters. It also had flag detection.

On Course Performance

On the course, the Mileseey Laser Rangfinder functioned well enough to be more useful than not having one. But it was surprisingly more difficult to lock on to flags or objects compared to the Bushnell V3 from 2013. It was so annoying that I sold it within one week.

That being said, a golfer who has not had the luxury of having a laser rangefinder will most likely find it very useful and economical. But anyone who has owned a Bushnell will most likely find it disappointing.

You get what you pay for and your mileage may vary.
